HOTLANTA

I just arrived in Atlanta and stopped in for a bite to eat at Spondivits. Mitzi had a BLT, John had a burger, and I had the fried lobster BLT. We had a short production meeting about the weekend. We have a lot to do in the few days that we are here. We are going to profile a restaurant, cook with a fan from the bayou, we have 3 other shoots pending, and I am going live on NASCAR RaceDay.

If you are in for the race, follow us on Twitter. I will let you know if we get into something fun where you can come and watch or participate.

The Week Off!

Just because I am not going to a NASCAR race this weekend does not mean that I am not busy. I have been working with John (The Producer) lining up some really cool ideas for Atlanta. I will be on SPEED's Raceday again that weekend. We are working on a cool idea for that show too.

Mitzi and I have been working on getting T Shirts made to sell on our web site. It may seem simple, but it is taking a while. We have gotten so many emails from people who would like to buy a T Shirt. They are coming and they are going to be cool.

I hope that everyone has a great weekend! Eat something good for me!

Thankful!

I have been home all week. One thing that I love about being home is cooking at home, and eating at home, with Mitzi. It is so nice to sit down to a home cooked meal.

I know I have said how fortunate I am, but I want to tell you again. I have a wonderful family!. My wife is out of this world! My parents are the best! I could not ask for better brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts. The pets are even fun. (Except I think that I am allergic to my sisters cats). Work has been going great. It has been a real pleasure to work with the executives at SPEED. The producer of the show has been doing a marvelous job. I love his humor with the out-takes at the end of each episode. The fans at the track are a blast. (Most of the time-crazy, but always a blast!). The viewer email is a treat to read. I love the diversity of the emails from recipes to stories.

I am very excited to go to Bristol tomorrow. I am flying into Charlotte and riding in a car with the producer to Bristol. If you are going to be there, be sure to follow us on Twitter. We should be shooting some things you can come and watch. We will keep you postted on Twitter.

Be sure to catch the new episode this Saturday at 7 am. Also, SPEED is having The Racing Chef marathon on Saturday too.

Did I tell you that my wife is wonderful?
